A cashless campus
Finger-vein payments at Brunel University’s campus convenience store.
FinGo’s published retail case study describes a project with Brunel University and Costcutter. The aim was to make campus shopping more convenient by letting registered students pay through a finger-vein scan.
A brand ambassador and temporary on-campus activity helped introduce the service and encourage enrolment. The case study reports thousands of students registering during the first month and higher sales following launch.
