FinGo and Mastercard

A partnership connected FinGo with Mastercard Payment Gateway Services.

FinGo announced a strategic partnership with Mastercard in June 2021. The agreement provided access to white-labelled Mastercard Payment Gateway Services, expanding the potential network of acquirers and merchants available to FinGo.

The announcement described plans to integrate MPGS tokenisation with FinGo’s finger-vein payment approach. A registered person’s scan could then connect them to the payment credentials associated with their account.

FinGo also described applications beyond payment, including age checks, identity, membership and loyalty. The partnership was presented as a way to extend the company’s international reach, with MENA among the regions discussed.
