It is now even easier to pay with Fingopay at Spisestuerne cafes

Fingopay launched their new biometric payment platform, developed exclusively for Copenhagen Business School students, this week.
In April 2018, Spisestuerne, who run the cafés at CBS, were among the first in the world to introduce finger vein biometric payments. Fingopay was rolled out across all five campuses, and the new platform makes it even easier for students to pay for food and drinks with just their finger.
- Students can now sign up to Fingopay at any payment till on campus
- In addition to Dankort, Fingopay now accepts Visa and Mastercard
- The new transaction page makes it easier to keep track of payments
“Once our customers have tried it once, many people actually prefer to pay with their fingers when they have to pay quickly for some food or drink during a break. That is why we are pleased it will now be easier and easier to get started.” says Lars Winther, CEO of Spisestuerne ApS.
“The product has been updated so it is easier to register at the payment tills”, says Esben Torpe Jorgensen, who is responsible for product and business development at Nets, adding: “We also looked into how we could extend the Fingopay solution by introducing international payment cards, in addition to Dankort.”
The award-winning Fingopay technology, which uses VeinID scanning, allows customers to link their vein signatures with their payment cards to pay using just their finger.. At tills, the unique pattern of the customer’s vein is scanned, verifying biometric signatures and payments in seconds through its cloud-based matching system.
